Two routes for a custom-designed bottle

A custom-designed bottle is made to your own shape and your own mold, rather than taken from the catalogue. YAMEI offers two routes. The first starts from 500 pieces and suits display bottles for exhibitions and showrooms, where a small number of distinctive bottles must exist before any full production run. The second is a fully automatic IS-machine line that starts from 5,000 pieces and suits bottles that will be produced in volume.

The 500-piece route uses a different process, so the unit price is higher than a catalogue bottle or a bottle from the automatic line. The automatic line has a higher minimum but a lower price per bottle at volume. Mold and development sampling fees are separate on both routes and are quoted after your design has been reviewed.

Who the 500-piece route suits

Choose the 500-piece route when you need your own bottle shape for an exhibition booth, a showroom, a launch presentation or a brand display, and you do not need thousands of bottles. Tell us the plan before you decide. If you intend to fill and sell the bottles in volume, we will say plainly whether the automatic line is the better fit.

If your design is flexible, a catalogue bottle with your logo is cheaper and starts lower, from 300 pieces. It is often the practical choice for a first sellable run, with a custom-designed bottle used where the shape itself has to stand out.

What the price depends on

The unit price depends on the size, the glass weight, the complexity of the shape, the colour and the finish. The mold fee depends on the shape and on how many parts the mold needs. Because these vary from one design to the next, YAMEI does not publish a single price for the 500-piece route. Send the brief and you receive a quotation that sets the unit price, the mold fee and the sampling fee out separately.

Lower minimums when the shape can be shared

Catalogue bottles with screen printing or hot foil start from 300 pieces, and custom boxes made to your exact design also start from 300 pieces. Colour spraying starts from 3,000 pieces. A complete set follows the highest minimum among its bottle, cap, pump, decoration and box.

Because each component has its own minimum, it helps to decide which part of the set must be unique. A distinctive box or cap on a catalogue bottle can reach a strong result at a lower quantity than a new bottle shape.

What to send for a quote

The more complete the brief, the faster the design can be reviewed and quoted. A sketch is enough to start, but a drawing, a 3D file or a physical sample removes most of the questions.

How the project runs

YAMEI reviews the design for feasibility, confirms the route and quotes the unit price, the mold fee and the sampling fee. After you approve a sample and the order is paid, production starts. Bulk production usually takes 15 to 30 working days after the final specification is confirmed, subject to project review, and transit time is separate. Full payment is required when the order is placed.

What YAMEI does not provide

YAMEI supplies empty bottles, caps, spray pumps and packaging. It does not supply perfume liquid, fragrance formulas or filling. YAMEI coordinates specialist production stages and does not claim that every process is completed in one factory.
