Perfume Bottle and Packaging Support for US Fragrance Brands

YAMEI is a China-based supplier of custom empty perfume bottles and packaging for US fragrance brands. We help independent teams define a practical bottle route, coordinate compatible components and boxes, review samples, follow production, and plan delivery from China.

01

A China-based project route for US fragrance teams

US independent fragrance brands often begin with a strong visual direction but a limited amount of technical packaging information. YAMEI turns that direction into a structured empty-bottle and packaging brief. The work can include bottle selection, pump and cap coordination, color and logo processes, custom boxes, fitted inserts, samples, production follow-up, quality checks, and delivery coordination from China. YAMEI does not present itself as a US office, local warehouse, or domestic manufacturer.

The service covers empty perfume bottles and packaging only. YAMEI does not supply perfume liquid, develop fragrance formulas, fill bottles, assemble finished perfume, or transport flammable perfume liquids. Keeping this scope clear allows the bottle, components, artwork, and packaging to be reviewed as a defined supply project while the brand manages its fragrance and filling arrangements separately.

02

Who this service is suitable for

The process is designed for independent fragrance brands, startup perfume labels, beauty businesses adding a fragrance line, packaging buyers, and established teams that need a new China production route. It is also suitable for a brand that has a reference bottle, an existing package that needs improvement, or an original design that requires feasibility and tooling review.

03

Route A: develop an existing bottle shape

An existing bottle route uses a shape or supplier mold that can be reviewed for current production. It does not necessarily mean finished bottles are sitting in a warehouse. Availability, scheduling, neck specification, and compatible components still need confirmation. For many US startup and independent-brand launches, this route is practical because it avoids the tooling work required for a completely new glass or plastic form.

An existing bottle can still carry a clear brand identity. Color coating, frosting, screen printing, hot stamping, labels, a coordinated cap, and a custom box can change the presentation without changing the bottle mold. The most effective briefs usually identify one or two priorities instead of combining every possible process. Samples are used to confirm the real color, artwork scale, component fit, and packaging relationship.

04

Route B: assess a fully custom bottle

A new bottle mold is relevant when the silhouette itself is a protected or essential brand feature that cannot be achieved with a suitable existing direction. The review may begin with a drawing, 3D file, physical sample, dimensioned reference, sketch, or previously produced bottle that the customer is authorized to use. Capacity, dimensions, neck, pump, cap, stability, decoration area, and packaging must be considered together.

Custom mold development normally involves a higher MOQ, tooling cost, technical work, samples, and a longer development sequence than an existing bottle route. YAMEI does not promise free engineering, free molds, identical reproduction, or a fixed minimum. The first review compares the design goal with existing alternatives and identifies which features truly require new tooling before commercial details are confirmed.

05

Coordinate the bottle and packaging as one product

A package should be developed around the complete assembled empty bottle, including the spray pump, collar, cap, labels, and decorative surfaces. Capacity alone is not enough to define the box. The final height, width, depth or diameter, cap clearance, weight, and removal direction affect the outer structure and fitted insert. A physical sample may be requested before the production dieline is approved.

US brands can choose a packaging-only review for an existing bottle or use the complete-set configurator when the bottle and box are being developed together. Folding cartons, lid-and-base boxes, drawer boxes, magnetic structures, and fitted inserts each have different material and setup conditions. Structure, artwork, protection, packed volume, and customer opening experience should be balanced rather than selected independently.

06

Information to prepare before review

A clear brief reduces avoidable assumptions. State the target capacity, expected order quantity, preferred material, visual direction, essential bottle features, cap or pump preference, decoration, box direction, and desired launch timing. Include reference images and a vector logo when available. If the project already has a bottle, provide complete dimensions with a measurement unit and clear photographs from more than one angle.

Separate non-negotiable requirements from preferences. For example, a brand may require a square silhouette and gold mark but remain flexible on the exact shoulder or cap material. That distinction gives the review room to identify a practical existing option before recommending custom tooling. It also helps the sample stage focus on decisions that affect the launch rather than cosmetic variations with little customer impact.

  • Estimated quantity and intended capacity
  • Reference images, drawing, or existing bottle photographs
  • Logo artwork and preferred decoration direction
  • Cap, pump, collar, box, and insert requirements
  • Target market position and desired launch timing
  • US destination for preliminary delivery planning

07

Sampling, production, and delivery planning

The sample sequence depends on the project. An available bottle sample can establish shape and component fit before decoration is added. A color or logo sample can then confirm the intended surface. Packaging may begin with a structural sample before printed and finished samples are reviewed. A new mold follows a longer technical sequence because tooling and bottle trials must be assessed before decoration and packaging are finalized.

After sample approval and commercial confirmation, YAMEI follows production and coordinates quality review against the approved specification. Delivery to the United States is evaluated using the final packed quantity, outer-carton dimensions, gross weight, destination, and timing needs. Freight method and cost cannot be fixed from bottle capacity alone, and they should not be treated as local free delivery or an included universal rate.

08

How MOQ is reviewed

MOQ is the result of several production conditions rather than one website number. An existing clear bottle may have one practical quantity, while coating, multi-color printing, a special cap, a rigid box, or a fitted insert can introduce different setup quantities. The workable complete-set quantity may be controlled by the component or process with the highest applicable minimum.

A fully custom bottle or new mold normally requires several thousand pieces or more, but the final requirement depends on the design and production conditions. YAMEI reviews the expected quantity before recommending a route. US brands planning a market test should compare an existing bottle with selective customization against new tooling instead of assuming every original concept can be produced at a small trial quantity.

09

Move from search to a reviewable project

The online configurator records bottle capacity, shape, material, surface, coating, decoration, box, insert, and finish in one readable summary. It is not an instant quotation or a catalog checkout. Use it to communicate the closest direction, estimated quantity, country, timing, and reference files. YAMEI then reviews feasibility, component compatibility, sampling, MOQ, pricing, production conditions, and delivery planning.

For a design that already exists, use the separate production-from-your-design inquiry rather than repeating standard shape selections. For an early concept, the complete-set configurator is the clearest starting point. Questions can also be discussed through WhatsApp, but a structured brief remains important because accurate quotation and production review depend on more than a reference photograph.

Project Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does YAMEI have a warehouse or production facility in the United States?

No. YAMEI is based in China and supports US fragrance brands through project review, bottle and packaging supply, sampling, production coordination, and delivery planning from China.

Which bottle route is usually more practical for a first US launch?

An existing bottle shape with controlled branding is often the more practical starting point for a market test. A new bottle mold can be reviewed when a distinctive silhouette is essential and the expected quantity supports the added development.

Can YAMEI quote shipping to the United States immediately?

Shipping is evaluated after the bottle, packaging, quantity, packed volume, weight, and destination are defined. YAMEI does not publish fixed freight prices or guarantee one delivery method before project review.
