Unit cost and project cost are different questions
A production project contains preparation work as well as physical units. Artwork must be checked, colors and processes reviewed, components matched, samples prepared, packaging fitted, production steps coordinated, and completed goods inspected. Some of that work changes little whether the order contains 400 units or several thousand. A smaller run spreads those project costs across fewer units.
This is why a small-batch unit price is usually higher than a larger-volume order. It does not mean the lower quantity is calculated irrationally. It reflects the fact that setup and coordination remain necessary even though the total output is lower. Comparing only the plain bottle price hides the work required to deliver a coherent branded empty-packaging set.

Existing molds remove one cost, not every setup cost
Choosing an existing bottle shape can avoid the engineering and tooling work of a new bottle mold. It also gives the project a known starting point for component and packaging review. However, the bottle still needs current production availability, neck compatibility, finish compatibility, and a schedule that works with the other project steps.
Logo printing, coating, frosting, labels, cap selection, and box production each have their own preparation. Color matching, screens, plates, fixtures, foil, paper setup, or other process requirements may apply. Existing mold therefore means a more practical route, not a guarantee of a fixed low price or universal minimum quantity.

Decoration processes have minimum setup requirements
A decoration supplier must prepare equipment and materials for the selected bottle surface and artwork. A simple single-color printed logo is different from coating plus printing plus hot stamping. Each additional process introduces handling, registration, quality checks, and the possibility of loss during setup. Specialty finishes can become disproportionate when applied to only a few hundred bottles.
The most controlled small-batch projects choose processes that have clear brand value. A bottle color and one logo method may be more effective than several layered effects. A label can be practical for some directions, while other brands may prefer a printed mark. The appropriate process depends on the bottle, surface, artwork, quantity, and expected presentation.

Packaging and inserts are separate production work
The box is not an automatic extension of the bottle price. Structure, dimensions, board, paper, printing, foil, lamination, and other finishes create a separate setup. The insert must also support the assembled empty bottle, cap, and components. If bottle and box quantities have different practical minimums, the complete project may be controlled by the higher requirement.
Rigid boxes generally involve different materials, handling, and packed volume from folding cartons. A custom molded insert may require tooling that is not suitable for a small test. Existing box structures and adaptable insert methods can reduce development, but they still need dimensional confirmation, artwork, samples, and production coordination.

Samples and coordination protect the final result
Samples allow the customer and YAMEI to review actual color, logo scale, component fit, box structure, and insert performance. Different sample stages may be needed when a project combines bottle decoration and custom packaging. Sample fees and related logistics costs are charged separately because they involve real preparation, materials, and delivery.
The project may also require several specialist production steps before final assembly. Coordinating the timing and specification across those steps is part of the small-batch route. Final quality review checks the empty bottle, components, and packaging against the approved direction before delivery. This work is especially important when the quantity is too small to absorb avoidable errors.

Control cost by protecting the strongest brand details
A limited budget should be allocated to the elements customers are most likely to recognize. Start with a suitable existing bottle and box structure. Choose one or two customization priorities, such as color and logo or a restrained bottle with a stronger printed package. Avoid simultaneously developing a special cap, multi-layer finish, complex insert, and unusual box mechanism for a test run.
Provide a clear quantity, capacity, reference images, logo, destination, and timing. State the acceptable alternatives. A brief that distinguishes essential features from preferences gives the review more room to identify an existing, compatible route and avoid quoting development work that the first market test does not need.

Request a feasibility review before requesting a price
Public fixed prices cannot account for bottle availability, decoration setup, component compatibility, packaging structure, quantity, sample requirements, packed volume, or destination. A meaningful commercial review begins after those inputs are understood. YAMEI does not present the website as an automatic quotation or inventory system.
The small-batch feasibility checker can identify whether the current direction appears proportionate to 300–500 units. Final feasibility, options, quantity, price, samples, and timing remain subject to project review. A result may instead direct the project to a standard configuration route or to production assessment from an existing design.
